The Rewards of Fostering

Many people think they could never foster a dog because they feel they would get too attached and not be able to let them go.  What they don’t know is what they would be missing out on.  Opening your home and your heart to a dog in need is the most rewarding experience.  You get to fall in love on a continuous basis.  Each dog you foster requires different needs.  Some need training, some require medical care, while others just need a loving home until they get their forever home.  These beautiful pets will leave paw prints on your heart.  When you find the perfect home for your foster dog you are filled with joy.  There may be a tear or two shed, but knowing they are in the right home, that they are wanted and loved, it what it is all about.  And in no time you will have another foster dog that needs your love.
