THRIFT STORE
EARS Thrift Store is a prime source of funding for EARS’ pets in need. All proceeds go directly to benefit the dogs and cats of EARS. We appreciate donations of gently used clothing, accessories, jewelry, home accessories, and small household appliances.
Donations may be dropped off during business hours:
Memorial Day – Labor Day – Tuesday – Saturday – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Labor Day – Memorial Day – Monday – Saturday – 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Please call 941-460-6757 in advance if you have a large donation. We are located in the up-and-coming business area in Englewood at 280 S. McCall Road, Englewood, FL 34223, right down the street from Will’s Honky Tonk and Beyond the Wave. We have a great space with many treasures, and, we have off-street parking.

Donation Policy
EARS is very grateful to our community for the donations to help pets in need. Proceeds from Thrift Store sales are an important component of funding for our mission.
To ensure a sale, we can only accept items in “GENTLY USED” or “NEARLY NEW” CONDITION, which is determined by our Thrift Store manager and our volunteers.
We CANNOT accept large furniture or large appliances.
A tax receipt will be provided upon request, at the time the donation is made.
We are so thankful that our community is so giving and willing to partner with us to care for our cats and dogs until they can be placed in their forever homes.
What We Take for Donations
Any household items that are not broken or unsellable.
- Clothing ( mens and women )
- Shoes as long as they’re not ripped or over worn
- Pictures and wall art
- Books , Recods , CD’s
- Any resellable items
- Furniture at a small size ( side tables and chairs )
- Household Kitchenware ( Just Not Stoves or Big Refridgerators )
- Artwork And Glasswork
- Jewelry
- Canes or Walkers in good condition
- Rugs , Comforters not torn or ripped
- Clocks , Crystal items , dishware
- Dishes or Plate Sets
- Crafts and Fabric Items in neat condition
- Blankets, towels , shower curtains in resellable condition
- Statues and Pottery of all kind
What We Don't Accept
- Bed Frames or Headboards
- Electronics that are large or untestable
- Large Furniture or couches
- Computer Monitors
- TV’s
- Ripped or torn clothes or shoes
- Unsellable Broken Items
- Chandaliers or Wall Mounting Lights
- Loose Wiring or Car Parts
- Car Seats for Children
- Used Bed Pillows ( NOT THROW PILLOWS ) we take couch pillows!
- Printers
- Any Electronic That Cannot Be Tested or Unlocked
PET STORE
EARS Pet Store can help you with your cat and dog needs. EARS carries collars, harnesses, and leashes. Do you need a dog or cat bed? EARS has them! Pet toys abound, as well as food dishes, litter boxes, crates, pet carriers, and lots of doggie clothes!
EARS Pet Store features Fromm dog and cat food. If you don’t see your product on the shelf, EARS will order it for you. We also carry gently used items that have been donated. Be sure to check out our inventory for some great bargains!
